How to: Owls

Step 1:
Cut out felt pieces:
- Dark grey felt for back and front
- Light-coloured felt for face
- White felt circles for eyes
- Brown felt for feet
- Coloured fabric for belly

Step 2:
- Sew feet on to body
- Sew on face, eyes and beak

Step 3:
- Sew on black beads for pupils

Step 4:
- Sew the pieces together and stuff

Owls

I've been looking forward to making owls. They have so much personality and you can really play around with colours and patterns.

These little hooters are based on a similar template to the babushkas.
